Sad news about the dog and Justine, Laura and Oakland Plantations, River Road, LA

The couple from Canada emailed us today and said that they could not catch the dog and have left for home. A vet let them borrow a cage and net and he was in almost all the way then ran out quickly. After that he would not go near them again or near their dogs. Sad - they really wanted to help this dog.

Second bad news - Justine was rammed by a Hummer today when she was stopped going to work and it pushed in her back end and pushed her into another car in the front. Four cars were involved and the first car was a fellow teacher who then took her home after her car was towed. Our friend Ken picked her up to bring her home to get one of our cars. She went to the doctor and had a bunch of xrays and is not feeling well. Her car is not doing well either and she is waiting for the report from her insurance company. Many phone calls have been made to RI today.
We visited the Laura and Oakland Plantations today and it was a very good day so posting pictures. Heading back to Mississippi tomorrow along the coast after driving through New Orleans to reach Bay St. Louis.
